Assistant Project Manager_NEA [South Korea]


 

Responsibilities

  • Tender and Project Operation management

  • Handle overall tender process, technical/commercial discussion.

  • Communicate with various internal/external stakeholders.

  • Applying contractual obligations to client expectations, while upholding Vestas' contract position.

  • Negotiate agreed outcomes to contract disputes and finalize contract legals on project completion.

  • Accurate and timely reporting to management and customers.

  • Handle transition from Sales to Project Management and to Service.

  • Assess issues and risk, deliver resolutions.

  • Ensure the project meets its goals.

  • Determine, implement, and analyze the project cost controls.

  • Project progress reports, collated monthly and at milestones, variances to timeline and OH&S.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors in engineering, PMP or equivalent professional license is advantage.

  • Electrical engineering qualifications are preferred.

  • At least 5 years' experience managing projects.

  • Fluent in English/Korean, Japanese is advantage.

  • Solid understanding/qualification of Project Management Principals

  • Solid understanding of contracts, insurance, and commercial terms

  • Well organized and capable of meeting agreed deadlines

  • Strategic thinking with operational focus

  • Risk & Opportunity Management during tender & project execution

  • Organized thinking, planning & adherence to timelines.

  • Team-oriented person with good communication skills

  • Take own initiatives and direct for results.
