WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?
In our team you will provide support with defining technical approaches, FPGA implementation (VHDL), HW acceleration as co-processing avionics of satellites or spacecrafts or some of their instruments onboard, SW/HW codesign, budget size and cost estimating, HW/SW implementation for space applications, documentation, verification/validation and certification of embedded hardware/software (mainly based on FPGA and FPGA + microprocessor).
You will be defining architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for operational or simulated space hardware/software systems. You will offer technical support for VHDL implementations and assistance in selection of the more adequate FPGA and/or microprocessor platforms in line with the implementation targeting space applications (in most cases will refer to radiation tolerant devices) and will be responsible for tailoring and deployment of processes, tools and metrics.
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
We are looking for engineers with a first relevant experience FPGA, VHDL implementation, Embedded Software and Hardware, FPGA-based SoC architectures, HW verification, pin-out, FPGA-in-the-loop testing with basic C/C++ coding skills.
We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in modelling, Space Systems, RTOS, Space Grade processor and FPGA, Hardware design, good communication skills, both in Romanian and English, ability to actively collaborate with remote team members and willingness to share knowledge with others and to act as a team player.
